Female preservation of fertility

Currently, women decide to delay motherhood for many reasons, but the older the woman is the older her oocytes are as well. Multiple medical trials show that oocytes of women over 35  have lower quality and increase in the chromosome alteration rate. The result is a reduction in the possibility of achieving pregnancies.

The new oocyte vitrification techniques allow us to preserve their quality and use them whenever the woman determines to do so. In this way, delaying motherhood does not influence on the possibilities of becoming a mother.

The female fertility preservation is especially indicated for:

  • Women who want to delay motherhood after they are 35 years of age
  • Women who undergo medical treatments that endanger the oocyte survival, like chemotherapy
  • Women under 35 years of age, but with low ovarian reserve markers.
